B-29, B-52, Bugatti Veyron, and More!

Aviation art and more

These strong graphics by artist Ewan Tallentire combine aviation art with another image or text, to get attention and suggest a story in a single glance.  The bold contemporary design is made for low production cost on any item that can be printed, screened, or etched, and the designs have proved their worth by selling literally out of the box.

The best promotion is

               word-of-mouth

The strategy is to first advertise a museum, business, or event by putting the design on the most enthusiastic supporters.  Most likely this would be done by offering a limited edition order of t-shirts to friends and members.  It’s like attaching a billboard to a walking, talking museum advertisement.  When others ask about the design, they get an enthusiastic word-of-mouth endorsement.

Aviation art as fundraiser

Later, the designs can be offered in the gift shop to raise funds and further expand awareness of the museum, business, or event

Planes, trains, and automobiles

A new style in 2011, this bold graphic design was first used for B-52 t-shirts for the grand re-opening of Colorado’s Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum. It works for much more than t-shirts – these one-color designs go on anything that can be silk-screened, etched, embroidered, or printed: hats, mugs, key chains, window stickers, etc.  And not only aircraft – we’ve used the style for trains, cars, and a tank design is in the works!
