On our second date, I remember thinking this was an interesting man; one could learn a lot of history just from talking to him. Too bad he wasn’t interested in me. Six months later, he made me his wife, and I have learned a lot of history since then.
I think there is a lot of history the Internet generation doesn’t know, and doesn’t know that it doesn’t know. So I am starting this blog to promote my husband’s art, but also to pass on some bits of history that may inspire readers to learn more on their own.
Please note: If you make a comment that doesn’t seem related to the post or is a comment that could be made about anyone’s blog (“this is a great blog; I like what you’re doing!”), it will probably get marked as spam as there are a lot of people out there “commenting” on blogs just to get links back to their own site and raise their search rankings. When in doubt, I’ve started marking them as spam.
